Medicine, the way it should be practiced.

Direct access to your physician. Unhurried visits. Care built around you — not insurance billing codes.

A simpler relationship between you and your doctor.

Starke Medical Group is a concierge practice. That means I work directly for you. There are no copays, no prior authorizations, and no fifteen-minute visits. In exchange for a membership fee, you get the kind of access and attention that's become almost impossible to find in modern medicine. Your insurance still works the way it always has for labs, imaging, medications, and anything else outside of our direct visits.

ii.

You get direct access

You have my cell phone number. We meet at my office, at your home, or on telemedicine — whatever works best for you.

iii.

You keep your insurance

Labs, imaging, and medications are still run through your insurance the way they always have been. The membership only covers the work I do directly with you.

What people want to know.

Do you take insurance?
Not for visits with me. The membership covers our direct relationship — visits, texts, calls, follow-ups. That's what makes the concierge model work: it's how I'm able to spend real time with each patient instead of seeing thirty people a day to meet a billing target. Everything else — labs, imaging, medications, outside specialists — still runs through your insurance the same way it always has.
Can I use my HSA or FSA for the membership?
In most cases, yes. Membership fees for direct primary care and concierge medicine are generally considered eligible HSA and FSA expenses. I'd recommend confirming with your plan administrator.
What if I need a specialist or a hospital?
I coordinate with specialists across Houston and beyond, and I'll help you navigate referrals when something is outside my scope. Hospital care and outside specialists are billed through your insurance the same as they would be otherwise.
How is this different from a regular doctor's office?
You text or call me directly — no front desk, no portal messages routed through staff. Visits are as long as they need to be. You can see me at my office, at your home, or on telemedicine. The panel is intentionally small so that access is real, not promised.
Who is this practice for?
My fellowship training was in hormone optimization, infertility, and men's health, and that remains a core focus of the practice — including sexual medicine, andrology, peptide therapy, and GLP-1 and weight management. Over the years I've broadened my expertise to care for women as well, with particular attention to peri- and post-menopausal care, hormone replacement therapy, and peptide-based optimization. If you're looking for proactive, attentive, individualized care, this practice is built for you.
Do I have to live in Texas?
You need to be physically in Texas at the time of any visit — including telemedicine visits — because that's where I'm licensed to practice. Many members travel frequently but maintain a Texas address.
What happens if I want to cancel?
Monthly memberships have a two-month minimum and then can be cancelled anytime. Six-month and annual memberships are non-refundable once started, but there's no auto-renewal — you decide whether to continue at the end of each term.

Let's talk.

The best way to know if this is the right fit is a quick conversation. Text or call me directly — I'll respond personally.
